I have heard this speaker and it is great! It make voices sound like they were in front of you for movies, and for music voices sound like you were in a concert with the artist in front of you! I would get one of these but I already have a Bose Hometheater so no need for this
Dont ever listen to reviews.. Bose is perfect at making ACCURATE and LIFELIKE clear spacious and bassy sound.
For Bose Haters and Criticizers..
If you say Bose distorts you have never heard their systems! Bose systems NEVER distort! The reviewers saying that are crazy! They havent even gone to a Bose Store! Then they say the materials Bose uses are crap and they use paper.. I own Klipsch speakers and the Bose materials are almost like Plastic! The Klipsch are plain paper I could break with a pencil!! Then they say Bose speakers rely on reflecting sound.. they dont! the reflected sound just adds spaciousness and by the way, only some Bose speakers use the reflecting technology, so Bose haters can shut up and go to h-ll! They claim to be experts and have a lot of knowledge about Bose, but trust me, Ive compared A LOT to Bose, and Klipsch, Polk, Infinity and anything you name will always be a level below Bose.

Mine looks great… do not plug it in (cables are ugly), use it as a sculpture! The shiny BOSE logo alone is worth the $200.
Strengths:
-It does not cost over $1000
-The BOSE logo is 100% authentic.
-Wife like it.
Weaknesses:
-None. It looks great!

I bought this center channel because I needed a really thin channel to fit in a tight spot by my television. I also bought into the Bose marketing machine garbage during an earlier period of my life, which I am ashamed to admit to now.
Don’t buy this thing. It really is garbage. This has got to be the worst example of spending $200 in my life. Dialogue on movies is unintelligible and you cannot hear a thing people are saying. I have to put English language dialogue on the screen in order to follow the movie when I can’t completely crank the stereo. Honestly!
My British mother-in-law was visiting us here in the California and complained on numerous occasions about her inability to understand any dialogue in the movies we watched. What an embarrassment…having my surround sound system dyssed by my kid’s middle-aged British grandmother.
I don’t know what other center-channel you should buy, but do yourself a favor and stay far away from this one. It really is little more than an expensive paperweight. I’m going to get rid of mine soon so that I can start actually start listening to the actors in movies, instead of having to lip read.

Like everyone else has said, this thing is a waste of money. I have had mine for 3 years now and have not once been able to hear the actors speaking during a movie. I thought it was my tuner, but it must be this piece of garbage

I bought this speaker about one year ago from Best Buy, very disappointed. The sound quality is terrible, I have two presence channel $15 KLH speakers that sound better than this. No high end speakers have cabinets made of plastic, hence why Bose is not high end. After a year of misery on my ears, I’ve replaced this with a Paradigm center speaker that only cost $20 more, and the difference is not even comparable. Do not buy this, or any Bose product at all. Save your money and buy Paradigm, B&W, or similar, most of the time they cost a little bit more, but sometimes actually less and are actually high end speakers, and you will get your money’s worth.
